𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫?

This question gets emailed thousands of times every single day to all of the global #shippinglines.

Fewer emails mean more productivity, which means more profit!

Right now, we've launched a pilot where we integrate ship telematics into Cargo stream.

𝐌𝐎𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐍 𝐃𝐈𝐆𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍!

Right now, we've launched a pilot where we integrate ship telematics into Cargo stream.

Right now, our users can see the planned overland logistics chain for specific containers as well as the exact location of the ship with their containers before arrival at the port.

Giving the customer MORE 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥-𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 and helping shipping lines to reduce the number of emails handled.

Both customer and shipping line get more productive!

Leon van der Laan at CSCMP event for CEE

Today I am at the CSCMP - Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals event for CEE.

I’m super excited to be a guest of project44 at this event today.

We at Cargo stream overlap in our visions of how the future for supply chain looks like.
And as Michel Stekelenburg said in his speech today:

“Intelligent Visibility in the supply chain
is not a nice to have anymore, it is the new standard, data is the new oil”.

I’m 100% agreeing to that.

Whether it’s more #sustainability, efficiency or solving the driver shortage we can only succeed through #digitalisation.

This event is proving that once again.

Cargo stream becomes Webfleet Solutions Dot Connect Partner

Operating in the UK, France, the Netherlands, Poland and the Baltics, Cargo stream announces their clients will be able to access advanced telematics directly from its logistics management platform.

Cargo stream, a shared workplace for overland logistics management, announced an integration with Webfleet Solutions that is set to deliver advanced telematics and seamless logistics process management in one platform. By joining the Webfleet Solutions Dot Connect partnership programme, the company aims to increase the ease of sharing vehicle availability and location data among Cargo stream‘s customers.

According to the CEO at Cargo stream, Leon van der Laan, this integration will provide an unmatched value proposition to carriers actively looking for ways to digitalise as many of their operations as possible.

“Joining the Webfleet Dot Connect is both a huge improvement for our platform and a confirmation that we are providing a world-class SaaS to our clients. With our platform, where senders, carriers, and forwarders can take part in frictionless communication and accelerate their processes while also becoming more sustainable, we want to prove that the future of logistics is digital. Webfleet Solutions is an example that cutting edge solutions are accessible, and we are delighted that more companies will get the opportunity to experience the benefits”, says Mr. van der Laan

From now on, data from the WEBFLEET platform is integrated into the Cargo stream platform‘s interface and can be accessed in real-time. As a result, Cargo stream‘s users can see fleet performance reporting, trip data, GPS tracking and fuel consumption together with the existing features, such as transportation booking, self-service and chat and time-slots management, all in one place.

Cargo stream expects many companies to benefit from this partnership. Further plans to expand the scope are included in the yearly strategy.

Ambassador of Lithuania in France Nerijus Aleksiejūnas mentions potential collaboration with Cargo Stream

Thank you Ambassador of Lithuania in France Nerijus Aleksiejūnas. He mentioned #Cargostream as a potential collaboration. During the visit, he had already very good meetings, which proved the potential for our #economic #cooperation. During the meeting with the Vicepresident of the region Jean-Baptiste Gastinne, he found possible synergies for cooperation between #CMACGMKlaipėdos uostas/Port of Klaipėda and much more. More context is below.

#Normandie region is becoming a key partner for 🇱🇹🇫🇷 cooperation. Nordic-Baltic region has historical links with Normandy (starting from #vikings and finishing with Association “Lietuva brangi- Normandie Lituanie”). We have strong cooperation with Ville de Caen (festival “Les Boreales”, increasing economic, scientific and univesities’ ties).

And now we have opened #lithuania#consulate#honorary in Le Havre Seine Métropole in a very beatificul city Ville de Montivilliers (having splendid #abbey of 7 century and very dynamic and open for cooperation mayor Jérôme Dubost). I am so proud appointing Arnaud Serry as 🇱🇹consul for Normandy, who is university professor, maritime expert, already created many links with our country…and heartful fan of Lithuanian basketball 🏀 club BC Zalgiris Kaunas

During this visit we have already had very good meetings, which proved the potential for our #economic#cooperation. During the meeting with Vicepresident of the region Jean-Baptiste Gastinne we found possible synergies for cooperation between Klaipėdos uostas/Port of Klaipėda and Le Havre Port Center. Meeting with a CMA CGM company (which is leading worldwide in #maritime and #logistics) showed that we can establish very concrete #maritime links between us (merci beaucoup Sami FOUADH pour cette rencontre très chaleureuse). #Logistics & #innovations could be another area for our cooperation- meeting between Yann Alix (Fondation SEFACIL), Antonin Bétremieux (CIRCOE ), Rugilė Andziukevičiūtė-Buzė (Transporto Inovacijų Asociacija), Anthony POULLAIN & Stéphane Gouvart (Cargo stream) provided very concrete “road map” for cooperation. Thanks a lot for MEDEF and Jean Philippe Eliard for giving us a possibility to present potential of #Lithuania#economy to the companies of the region (it was so nice to meet some French companies which are already working in Lithuania). Finishing our economic mission with a meeting with AIVP- it has also indicated that we can gain a lot from city-port dialogue.

Concluding- with #Normandy we can establish strong economic cooperation in addition to existing historical, cultural and touristic links.

Connecting with organisations that support our mission - DCSA

We’re always happy to connect with organisations that support our mission. Digital Container Shipping Association (DCSA) helps companies reach their sustainability goals by promoting a digitally interconnected future of the shipping industry. We’re thankful for the opportunity to discuss our shared values with the inspiring and highly experienced Thomas Bagge, the CEO at DCSA.

Here’re the three main take-aways of our talk:
🔸 Through the work of DCSA, some of the largest shipping lines are cooperating more closely to make a tangible impact on customer experience, efficiency and sustainability.
🔸 The equipment issue currently seen in the market is not just about assets. It is also an issue of process and technology.
🔸 Collaboration platforms that connect companies will emerge in transportation and logistics. This may take years, but it will happen.

Do you agree?

Scm-startups.com mentioned us

#SupplyChainManagement is a network business and has a lot of interfaces hampering communication and visibility. One of the startups working on more end to end communication is Cargo stream. Cargo stream is an end-to-end solution, managing the whole #logistics chain in one place focussed on transportation by trucks as well as containers of shipping lines.
