We are excited to announce that Leon van der Laan has joined Cargo stream as the Chief Executive Officer. A skilled logistics professional, Leon has 20+ years of experience in management positions and consulting. He has led H&M distribution centres in the Netherlands and Italy and served as the CFO of the company’s Logistics Centre for Eastern Europe. For the past four years, Leon has been helping numerous companies in Europe build their business and sales strategies, refine organisational culture and adjust to remote work challenges.
“As someone who has a deep interest in tech, I am more than excited for the opportunity to lead Cargo stream in their journey of transforming the logistics sector. Together with the team, we are prepared for what seems to be months and years of rapid growth. I will do my best to build a resilient and mission-oriented organisation”, says Leon van der Laan.
In recent months, Cargo stream has entered Poland, France and the UK, with 1500+ users in the system. With Leon’s arrival, we are starting a new chapter that will focus on further expansion in Western Europe and rapid organisational development.
